Body found along Alameda Creek could been missing teen driver

The car was found three days later, and authorities later recovered her possessions downstream.

A body found along the shore of Alameda Creek in Fremont on Thu afternoon could be that of an 18-year-old woman from Tracy whose car crashed in the creek more than a four weeks ago, authorities said.

A dog walker spotted the body about 5:30 in the afternoon near a trail around Coyote Hills in the Ardenwood area, Fremont police said.

Firefighters and police officers from Fremont and Union City recovered the body on the north side of the creek. Authorities commented the body was that of a female and had been in the water “for some time.”

The car was found 3 days later, and authorities later recovered the person possessions downstream.
